DAY 1 Airport Transfer (Kunming)

Today you will land in Kunming, our local Kunming tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Time to relax or explore around.

DAY 2 DAY 2 Black Stone Forest(Naigu Shilin), Yuantong Temple, jump public square dancing in Green Lake Park

It is 13 kilometers from Shilin and is also called the Mozhai Stone Forest. ‘Naigu’ means ancient and black in Yi’s language. Compared with Shilin’s stone forests, this place has different features and styles. The various shapes of the karst landscape were formed due to millions of years’ movement of the Earth.

With a history of over 1,200 years, it is the largest temple in Kunming, which was on the list of the key Buddhist temples in China issued by the State Council.

In one of the most picturesque parks – Green Lake Park, in downtown Kunming. You can enjoy local people’s performances, such as Taichi, traditional dancing accompanied by traditional instruments. You can either take a leisurely walk around them or join them.

DAY 3 Kunming – Dali by bullet train, Ancient City of Dali, Xizhou Town, Erhai Lake

Xizhou was a typical commercial town of the Bai people in ancient times. Some buildings are old and really ancient architecture. There are numerous special paintings outside of their horses, full of Bai people’s own art.

Erhai Lake area enjoys a mild climate and is surrounded by abundant forest and numerous rare animals. Take a cruise on the lake and enjoy a great view of Erhai.

We will feel the peaceful atmosphere at Dali Ancient Town.

DAY 4 Dali-Lijiang by bullet train, Lijiang Ancient Town, Black Dragon Pool

Black Dragon Pool is one of the most famous pools in the collection of Famous Pools in China, which embraces attractive scenery.

Lijiang Ancient Town is an ancient town with a long history and a splendid culture. It’s located at 2,400 meters sea level and is also a well-preserved minority city.

DAY 5 Naxi Village, family visit in Naxi Village, Yunshanping on Jade Snow Mountain

The sublime Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a highlight of any Yunnan tour. Today, our local tour guide will take you to this wonderful site, and you will definitely make a day of it.

After lunch, we will visit a humble Naxi Village. It is significant to the Naxi as the birthplace of “Tusi” (the Chinese word that means chieftain of a clan) of the Mu clan.

You will also join their family to learn to make Naxi pancakes. Naxi pancake is Naxi People’s popular food. You can chat with them while making pancakes. After finishing it, you can have a try.

DAY 6 Tiger Leaping Gorge, Our guide and driver will escort you from Lijiang to Shangri-la

The drive to Shangri-La is a scenic journey. On the way, we will stop to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Check in upon arrival in Shangri-La.

DAY 7 Pudacuo National Park, Visit Tibetan Family, Songzanlin Lamasery

Shangri-La is an amazing destination for your China holiday. Today, we will visit Pudacuo National Park. Also, a local Tibetan family will give you a warm welcome for a short visit.

Also, visit the largest Tibetan Buddhist lamasery in Yunnan Province. Occupying an area of 33.3 hectares, Songzanlin was built in the style of Potala Palace in Lhasa and represents the Tibetan culture, housing Buddhist statues and many precious cultural treasures.

DAY 8 Transfer to Airport, Shangri la Departure (Flight excluded)
